Help with ordering and CD care

See below for information on:-

How to order

There are various ways to order our releases:-

Credit card payment through Paypal

You can order from this site by using the normal Paypal system. Paypal handles the credit card transaction securely and independently (we are not sent your card details). We charge just £1 for postage and packing, worldwide.

Cheque (UK only)

Customers in the UK can order by cheque if they prefer. Please email us first for details. We charge just £1 for postage and packing, worldwide.

Other suppliers

Some of our releases are available from retailers - ask us if you want details. However, in general we concentrate on making the music available through this site, since this is more efficient when dealing with non-commercial, specialist music.

Currencies

Earthrid is based in the UK and all prices are shown in British pounds sterling. You can check the prices in other currencies using the links provided on our catalogue page.

CD care

CDs should always be handled with care. Keep CDs in their cases when they're not being played, and keep the disk free of fingerprints and scratches. Please note that CDRs (and their cases) should be kept out of direct sunlight, since excessive exposure to sunlight could damage them.

Formats

The album Vestigial Digital comes on a factory-produced compact disc (CD).

All our other releases are made by us using CDRs (individually recordable CDs). We always record at low speed onto high quality media, to provide the best possible audio quality. All good, modern CD players are compatible with CDRs (if you have a bad, old CD player, save your money and put it towards buying a replacement instead!). CDRs (and their cases) should be kept out of direct sunlight.

Note that any releases marked as being "mini-CDRs" are miniature CDRs (8 cm in diameter) that have been designed to be played in domestic CD players that have a loading tray (most of them have). They should not be used with "slot-loading" CD players, such as those found in car CD players and some computer systems. This note does not apply to our full-size CDRs.
