New release: Abominations of Yondo Earthrid is pleased to announce the release of the album Abominations of Yondo, the result of a collaboration between Cousin Silas (releases on Earth Monkey, Fflint Central and Earthrid) and Kevin Busby (of Carya Amara, Audio Space Research etc.). Abominations of Yondo is a collection of other-worldly music, sounds and atmospheres inspired by the writings of Clark Ashton Smith, whose weird tales ranged in location from deserts concealing bizarre abominations to distant planets, and in temporal setting from the ancient continent of Hyperborea to Zothique, the last remaining land of a far future age. The Ballardian interviews Cousin Silas There's a very interesting new interview with Cousin Silas at the Ballardian Web site, in which your favourite Cousin discusses the influence of J G Ballard and other writers on his music, and gives some fresh insights into his recorded work.
